Welcome Tannoys (2022)
Movement-activated audio devices were installed at exhibition entrances, exits, and other points, delivering brief welcome and goodbye messages. The sound is crude. Though recorded in a soft voice, the effect is more likely to unsettle or confuse than reassure, and seems wholly ill-suited to the people with dementia they are meant to serve.
